This week long Private safari visiting Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Naivasha and Masai mara will take you to the Highlands of Kenya, the Great Rift Valley and ultimately to the vast savannah grasslands of the Maasai mara. On this safari you have an almost guaranteed chance to see the ” Big Five” of Africa, the Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo and Leopard.

Besides the big five, you will see dozens of other wildlife species, the critically endangered Northern white rhino as well as the special Northern frontier wildlife, they include the Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, reticulated giraffes and the Somali Ostrich.

The Maasai mara will give you an opportunity to see the Big cats

Lake Naivasha offers a relaxing environment midway your safari, have an opportunity to walk among wildlife at the Hell’s Gate or the Crescent Island. See hippos and crocodiles and water birds while on a boat trip at the Lake.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 7.30 a.m. and proceed to North and drive to the Ol pejeta conservancy arriving at around 11.30 a.m. Check in at the Serena Sweetwaters Camp and relax a bit. Between 12.00 p.m and 3 p.m you will have an opportunity to visit the chimpanzee sanctuary as well as morani boma where endangered species are housed including the only two remaining Northern white rhinos. Lunch will be at the Serena Sweetwaters camp. Afternoon game drive will be at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and at the Serena Sweetwaters Camp. Meal Plan {Full Board}

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Full Day

Have an early morning cup of tea/coffee then depart for a two hour game drive, 6.00 to 8.00 a.m to see wildlife that you will rarely see during the day. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, depart for another extensive game drive exploring exotic ol pejeta Sanctuary. Lunch as well as relax at the Serena Sweetwaters camp, the camp also overlooks one of the busiest water hole in the area and offers elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game. Evening game drive at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight stay at the Serena Sweetwaters Camp. Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner}

Day 3: Ol Pejeta to Lake Naivasha

After an early morning breakfast at 7.00 a.m, depart Ol Pejeta and drive to Lake Naivasha via Aberdares where you will enjoy endless beauty of the mountains stretching to the horizons. You will have a brief stop at the Equator as well as at the Thompson falls. Arrive at Lake Naivasha around 12.00 noon. Check in at the Lake Naivasha sopa lodge as well as have your lunch. After lunch relax as you enjoy the cool grounds around the lodge. At 4.00 p.m, depart an evening boat trip tour of the Lake and on to the crescent Island for bird watching as well as small game viewing for approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Return to the Lodge at 5.30 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge. Meal plan: {FB}

Day  4: Lake Naivasha to Masai mara

Depart Lake Naivasha after breakfast and take a 4.5 to 5 Hour drive to Maasai mara. Arrive Maasai mara in good time for lunch. Lunch will be at the Mara Mara Sarova Camp. After lunch, you will relax until 4.00 p.m time for your evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sarova Camp. Meal Plan{Full board

Day 5 and Day 6: Masai mara

Have an early morning cup of coffee then depart for a game viewing session at 6.30 am to 8.30 am. Return to the Mara Sarova Camp for breakfast. After breakfast, depart for another game viewing session that will last until 12.30 pm. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, relax until 4.00 pm time for your evening game viewing session which will last until 6.00 pm. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sarova Camp. Meal Plan{FB} On one or both of these two days you may choose to have a full day game drive with packed lunch taken at a vantage point along the banks of the mara river as you watch the migration crossing.

Day 7: Masai mara to Nairobi

Depart for an early morning game drive at 6.30 to 8.00 a.m. followed by breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Nairobi arriving in good time for lunch. Have lunch at the Tamarind restaurant or similar. After lunch, you will be dropped at your next stop or the Jomo Kenyatta airport. Meal Plan{BL}
