This 3-day 2-night Private safari package departs from Nairobi and ending in Mombasa. You will use the Train service from Nairobi to Tsavo and the rest of the trip by road.
The safari will visit Tsavo East and Taita Saltlick Game sanctuary. Stay at the Satao Camp and the famous Taita Saltlick Lodge
Tsavo East is the largest park in Kenya and home to the “Big Five” of Africa.
The Saltlick lodge is famed for being among the World’s Most Photographed Lodges. A favourite amongst travellers in search of luxury accommodation, Salt Lick Safari Lodge is a luxurious safari escape set in the heart of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary overlooking a waterhole and the vast Tsavo plains, here you will also have an opportunity to see four of the Big five game of Arica.

This safari+beach stay can be customised.
Pick up from the hotel in Nairobi at around 6.30 am and transfer to the Nairobi train terminus for the 8.00 a.m. train to Voi arriving at mid day. Our driver will pick you from the voi station at drive to the nearby Tsavo East National park- 6 kms.(The largest park in Kenya which covers an area of 13,747 km2). Begin the game drive en route to the Satao camp and via Aruba dam (A water hole where animals come to drink water). Physical attractions include Tsavo River, Yatta Plateau which is 300 km2, Mdanda Rock, Lugard Falls, Voi seasonal River and Aruba dam. You have also a chance to see animals such as red elephants, rhinos, leopards, cheetah, and giraffes. Proceed with the game drive to Satao Camp where you will check in at around 1.00 pm. Have lunch and relax till 3.45 pm after which you will start another game drive till 6.15 pm. Return to the Satao camp for dinner and overnight.
Wake up at around 5.45 am, have a cup of coffee and start an early morning game drive before the main breakfast. This time you have a chance of seeing the big cats of Tsavo. Back to the lodge for the main breakfast at around 8.30 am followed by the last game drive and depart to Taita Hills salt lick driving through a distance of 80 kms. Arrive early afternoon, check in at Taita Hills Lodge where you will have your lunch. Depart at around 2.30 pm to Hilton Salt Lick where you will have a chance to see animals at the water hole, while at Salt Lick Lodge. Proceed for another game drive at 4.00 pm until 6.30 pm. Taita Hills wild life sanctuary was founded by the Hilton early seventies. It covers an area of 24,000 Ha. Physical attractions include thorny bushes, acacia forests, arid and savannah, swamp and Taita hills among others. Animals found here include elephants, lions, cheetah, zebras, giraffes, and many different types of birds such as ostriches, horny bills, guinea fowls, kingfishers and weaver birds. Dinner and overnight at Salt lick lodge.
