4 Days Private Safari in a 4×4 Safari Jeep visiting Both Tsavo East and Tsavo West and Amboseli National park. While on this safari you will have an opportunity to see the “Big five” of Africa.
Among the attractions in Tsavo West include rhino sanctuary, Mzima springs, the Shetani lava flow. Amboseli offers beautiful views of Mt. Kilimanjaro- a perfect backdrop for your photography. Amboseli is also home to large elephant herds.
Tsavo East has its unique red colored elephants and large concentration of herbivores and the man eaters of Tsavo. Attractions include the Mudanda rock, Kanderi and Aruba dams and the Thompson falls.
Stay at the Kilaguni Serena in Tsavo West, Oltukai Lodge and in Tsavo East the Ashnil Aruba Lodge.
Pick up from your coastal hotel for our inland safari journey via Mombasa – Nairobi highway. The 240 km, 4-hour journey through tarmac and gravel roads will have a break en-route with refreshments and bathroom facilities available. Our game drive will begin in Tsavo West National Park where you will enjoy your first game drive en route to the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for lunch as well as check in. After lunch relax until 3.30 p.m when you will depart for a late afternoon game drive as well as visit to the rhino Rhino Sanctuary with some game viewing en-route. Animals to be seen here include buffalos, elephants, lions, cheetah, giraffes etc. As the sun sets we head back to our camp /lodge for dinner and overnight. Sun rise finds us ready and out for our pre-breakfast game ‘spice’ drive. We will visit the Mzima Springs and explore on foot to see hippos under water, crocodiles, exotic fish, and tropical vegetation. On our drive this morning we shall also get to see many resident and migratory bird species. We return for breakfast then check out and proceed further south to the Amboseli National Park. The drive takes approximately 2 hours. Game drive en route to the Oltukai Lodge for lunch. Relax before setting out for the afternoon game drive Amboseli is a relatively small park hence animal spotting is easy and fast. On a clear day we should be able to see Mt. After an early breakfast in Amboseli, we depart by road with a game drive en-route to Tsavo East National Park. Our drive takes us through the farmlands of a local tribe called Kamba. We arrive in Tsavo East National Park in time for lunch followed by some free time before setting out on another game drive in the late afternoon. Tsavo East is known for excellent game viewing which include the big five…lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner}
Depart for an early morning game drive at 6.00 to 8.00 a.m. exploring the vastness of Tsavo National Park returning to lodge/camp for a full English breakfast. After breakfast, proceed with a mid morning game drive until 11.30 a.m. when we leave Tsavo East for a lunch break at Voi town, Lion Hill Lodge.
