This is a four-day- 3 Night Air safari Package to the masai mara, the World’s famous game reserve and the jewel park of Kenya.
This 3 night, 4 day tour includes Air transport from Nairobi with up to eight Safari game drives inside the masai mara Game reserve while staying at the all Inclusive Sala’s Camp
Sala’s is a safari camp with just seven tents and as it’s located away from the busier areas of the Masai Mara, Sala’s Camp provides an intimate and exclusive safari experience. Guests often enjoy game drives without meeting any other vehicles. The surrounding landscape is spectacular, with lush river valleys to explore and rolling hillsides giving panoramic views. Guests can often hear the roars of the ‘Sala’s’ lion pride at night which resides in the area, along with the chorus of other nocturnal species.
Fondly named after our founders’ first-born daughter, Sala’s Camp became the first safari camp to begin The Safari Collection portfolio. Hidden deep in the Masai Mara National Reserve close to the Tanzanian border, it is away from many of the other safari camps in the Mara. Its un-spoilt and remote location was stumbled upon in 2004 by our directors, Tanya and Mikey Carr-Hartley, who found it to be the perfect place to take their mobile safari camp. After several years of searching, they were delighted when they discovered this slice of paradise on the confluence of two seasonal rivers teeming with wildlife. Sala’s location remains a highlight today, its proximity to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park giving it front row seats to the famous wildebeest migration as it enters Kenya.
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or residence at 7.00 a.m and transfer to the Wilson airport for your morning flight to Maasai mara at 8.00 a.m arriving at 8.45 a.m. Upon arrival, you will be picked up by the Sala's Camp driver-guide and proceed to the camp with an extended morning game drive until 11.30 a.m. Check in as well as have your lunch. Another game drive will follow at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Sala's camp. Meal plan: {All Inclusive} Game drives: 2
On these two full days, you will have an opportunity to explore the vast maasai mara reserve conservancy in two extended game drives daily, one in the morning and one in the evening. You will also have time to engage in activities like guided maasai community trip. Meal plan: {All Inclusive} Game drives: 6
On one or both of day 2 and 3 you may choose to have a full day game drive with packed lunch or full morning game drive with a break for lunch and an evening game drive or tour the Maasai mara reserve.
All meals dinner and overnight stay at the Sala's Camp.
Have your last game drive early in the morning at 6.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. followed by breakfast. After breakfast, check out and transfer to the Keekorok Airstrip for the 11.15 a.m. flight to Nairobi. You will be arriving at the Wilson airport at 1.00 p.m. We will pick you from the Airport and transfer you to the Carnivore restaurant for lunch. After lunch, transfer to your Nairobi city hotel or residence. Meal plan: {Breakfast and Lunch} Game drives: 1
