This tour starts in Nairobi and ends in the Coastal hotels in Mombasa, Malindi or Diani Beach
This is a three night safari visiting Amboseli, Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks.
A private safari that departs from Nairobi and ends in Mombasa. Transportation in an all well 4×4 Safari jeep.
While on this safari you will be staying at the Oltukai Lodge, Kilaguni Serena and finally at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge.
While on this safari, you have a chance to see the Big five of Africa, large elephant herds in both Amboseli and Tsavo East plus hundreds of other big and small game. You will also enjoy the changing scenic landscapes, from hills, mountains to the vast savannah grasslands.
After your safari, you will proceed to Mombasa onboard the mid-day train.
Pick up from your Nairobi city hotel or residence at 7.00 a.m. and drive to Amboseli via the Athi Plains, home of the Masai. The drive time will be approximately 4.00 hours. Enter Amboseli Park driving slowly, looking for lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, gazelles, antelopes and different kind of birds. Check in at the Oltukai Lodge, after checking in take your lunch followed by a short afternoon relaxation. At 4 pm go for the evening game drive in the small but game filled Amboseli national park with a chance to see Elephants, lions, cheetahs, gazelles, wildebeests, buffalos zebras, warthogs, different birds and of course Mount Kilimanjaro. Have your morning breakfast at 6.30 a.m. then depart for a two-hour game drive until 9.00 a.m when you join the convoy to Tsavo West. The drive to Tsavo West is approximately 1 Hour. Have a game drive via the scenic shetani lava flow- a formation left after the explosion of Mt. Kilimanjaro several million years back. This extended game drive will take you until lunch hour. Lunch will be at the Kilaguni Serena Safari. After lunch, have an afternoon game drive en route to the rhino Sanctuary This sanctuary is home to the rare and endangered black rhino plus the “big five of Africa” The lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and the Rhino. At 6.00 p.m., return to the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: {Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner}
Have your breakfast at 6.30 a.m followed by a game drive via the Mzima Springs where crystal clear water emanates from the underground. Springs originating from the Mt. Kilimanjaro. Hippos crocodile, fish and variety of bird life exists. Later depart for the neighboring Tsavo East National with a mid morning game drive en route to the Ashnil Aruba Lodge for Lunch. After lunch, relax at the camp as you await your evening game drive that will be at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Meal Plan: {Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner}
Early morning game drive at 6.30am until 8.30am time for your breakfast. After breakfast, game viewing en route as you leave Tsavo East National park exiting through the Voi gate to the Voi SGR trai terminus for your 12.00 p.m. train to Mombasa arriving at 2.00 p.m. You will be picked from the train station and transfer to your Coastal hotel with a brief stop for lunch in Mombasa town.
