Itinerary departs from Nairobi hotels or Jomo Kenyatta airport in the morning and ends in the early evening hours.
While on this full day tour, you will be visiting the Nairobi National park in the early morning hours where you will spend approximately 4.5 Hours, proceed to the Sheldrick elephant orphanage where you will be able to see baby elephants closely. Lunch followed by a visit to Kazuri beads factory and ending your tour by visiting the the Giraffe center-feeding the Giraffes included in the itinerary.
Kindly note that a pre booking is required to visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Booking is open 90 Days to the visit and is Subject to availability of space at the Elephant Orphanage.
Pick up from your Nairobi City Hotel or the Jomo Kenyatta Airport at 6.00 a.m. and have an extended tour of the Nairobi National park. The park is home to the four of the "Big five" wild game of Africa amongst other small and big game.
Proceed to the Sheldrick elephant orphanage where you will be able to see baby elephants closely, the orphange is open to the public between 11.00 a.m to 12.00 Noon.
Have your lunch at the Tamarind Restaurant at the Famous Karen Blixen Museum.
Set in the serene suburb of Nairobi, the Karen Blixen Museum not only provides the most comprehensive insight into the person of Karen Blixen, but also offers a fantastic space for personal reflection in our nature trail, against a back drop of Karen’s beloved Ngong Hills. Next door is the Kazuri Beads factory where you can see the beautiful hand-made beads as well as by some.
See endangered Rothschild giraffes at Nairobi’s Giraffe Centre on a 3-hour trip that goes beyond ‘Giraffe Manor’ to explore the landscape where the graceful animals live. Follow a trail along the Gogo River to find giraffes in their natural environments spotting warthogs and dick dicks along the way. Return back to your Hotel after 5.00 p.m
Should you have a long layover in Nairobi, we can pick and drop you at the JKIA.
